Celebrating a strong female gaze, the brand was launched by Galway woman, Sallyann Concannon who supports the independence of women by celebrating their mettle. She believes "we are resilient, strong and determined beings and we have the opportunity to reward ourselves, and each other, with accessories that make us shine and bloom". The brand promotes nurturing our mettle because prioritising our holistic development will bring us closer to positive outcomes, otherwise known as our 'Bloom'.
Since launching in May 2022, Mettle & Bloom has grown in popularity and demand. It has featured in numerous well known magazines, newspapers and TV shows, some of which include IMAGE, RTE Guide, EVOKE, Irish Country Magazine, Sunday Independent, Irish Examiner and Ireland AM.
Sustainability
We are dedicated to doing better. At Mettle & Bloom, we are making every effort to minimise our footprint. Using luxury reusable packaging, recyclable post boxes and exclusively working with suppliers who adhere to excellent working and social standards is only the beginning for us and we are counting on you to support us on our journey to Net Zero. Also,we recently changed our courier service to DPD to further reduce emissions.
Quality
At Mettle & Bloom, quality is a promise. Our jewellery is made using premium materials to ensure durability and long-lasting beauty. Every sterling silver piece is plated with a minimum of 1 micron of 18k gold, never less. We also offer stainless steel jewellery with 18k gold plating and PVD coating for enhanced durability. More recently, we have added select pieces crafted from brass with a minimum of 2.5 microns of gold plating. Our stones are high-quality zirconia, chosen for their brilliance and resilience. Unfortunately we cannot make changes to your order once it has been fulfilled. If you need to make any changes please email us at support@mettleandbloom.com as soon as possible and include your order number. If your order has already been fulfilled we cannot make any changes. Please note that we are not liable for any parcels with an incorrect shipping address.
We fulfil and post orders Monday - Friday. We aim to post all orders placed before 3pm that day.

Our orders are sent out via DPD everyday at 3pm. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been collected and scanned by the DPD at their depot. You will receive the tracking information via email to the email you provide at checkout.

We are inspired by women with mettle - those who have challenged stereotypes, stood by their beliefs, and paved the way for others. In their honour, our collections are dedicated to and named after remarkable women with mettle.
At Mettle & Bloom we use two different metals; 925 sterling silver and stainless steel.
How to care for your sterling silver jewellery:
- Limit exposure to water, personal care and beauty products.
- Remove before swimming, bathing or showering.
- Store pieces separately, and hang necklaces to keep them from tangling.
- Wipe clean with a soft cloth, and do not use conventional fine jewellery cleaner.
How to care for your stainless steel jewellery:
This is our water resistant and tarnish resistant range. However, to protect them and maintain their original condition, remove them when working out/ doing heavy work and avoid chemicals.
At Mettle & Bloom we use two different metals; 925 sterling silver and stainless steel.
Sterling Silver:
925 sterling silver plated in 18k gold and Electrocoated (E-coating): This is a technique for applying a protective layer to jewellery via an electrically charged solution for durability and corrosion resistance.
Stainless Steel:
316L stainless steel plated in 18k gold and PVD coated. This is a technique that involves depositing a thin film of vaporised material onto the surface of jewellery using a vacuum chamber. This process creates a protective layer that not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also imparts exceptional durability.

If your order has been returned to sender, please email us at support@mettleandbloom.com with your order number, a photo of the parcel and include an alternative delivery address, and we will re-dispatch your order as soon as we have received it. Please note depending on the circumstance, you may have to pay an additional shipment fee.
